It was indeed sir, good memory!

I’m just a boat enthusiast who has a hard on for Yamaha.

We love our Yamaha 90 4 stroke. Doesn’t set any speed records, but it’s been reliable and easy to maintain. Does pretty good on fuel consumption too. We should do a boat meetup at Kiawah.

Trying to coordinate for this Saturday....

@ovrlndkull you plan on being at @SearArtist house by 4? I can meet y'all there at 4. It's later than I want but not a huge deal. I'm just really ready to get my wheels. :D

A testament to either Yamaha or luck, we had a guide boat up in Murrell's that wasn't maintained at all. No oil changes, nothing. That motor ran for 3 years straight doing up to 16 hour days in the summers. Never missed a beat. It was pretty crazy. I'll run a boat without a Yamaha, but I sure won't buy one without a Yamaha.

My Yamaha 9.9 2stroke has ran 10 years without one single issue. I converted it to 15hp a few years ago and went from running 19/20mph to 30 on the back of my Riverhawk.

Yep. Nothing fancy, just good running, reliable motors.
