I've read that those are a bad idea. Something about the film trapping too much heat and cracking the plastic lens. Im not 100% on that though.

That guy designed a new front suspension for his taco but doesn't understand basic center of gravity principles, something weird is going on there.

OP, I’d recommend not putting LED bulbs in halogen OEM housing. Don’t be cheap, do it right the first time. There’s a thread somewhere with a ton of fog lights being tested. But again. I recommend the KC G4’s.

Not at all!! I've had them for almost a year. The build quality is top quality. I've driven in water up to my headlights and these things have not given me a single issues even submerged lol. I drive my truck pretty hard and they have kept up every step of the way. I updated my initial post with pictures.

I did win these in a contest but one of the main reasons I would buy them is because I am indecisive. And I would buy another set of these go out.

They are rotable in the housing to optimize the beam. As you can see, I am running retrofits as well so I understand light output and spread. These cut off like a good SAE J583 would and do not have alot of glare compared to cheaper led bulbs. The thread you are referring to is called sae j583 where he tests a bunch of led lights. Those would require retrofitting in the housing. There are the morimoto fog projectors but they are costly.

Led bulbs in headlights are pretty terrible I agree. I would not recommend running anything but a good halogen in a stock halogen headlight housing.

Mine may be up for sale in a few weeks once I receive all of my armor. I will then be running a "proper" led fog.
