The BR is a nice knife. I've got a couple. A Bravo 1 and Bushcrafter-nicely made and definitely great knives.

Nice little blade! I have a CRKT Minimalist, very similar, and also a Alan Folts design.

Reported! That S&W is something you don’t see a lot of anymore. It’s a nice gun.

edit: just kidding about reporting. I was just excited to see something other than a semi.

I enjoy my wheel guns to be sure. I live kinda in the boonies, so really the only time I strap on a semi is if I somehow get talked into a foray into Portland, Seattle, or really any city up and down the I-5 corridor.

    me too!!

black G10. i heard great things about the sharpness from the factory, but i wasnt impressed. mine was not that sharp..it just barely sliced paper. it is however, very very robust. i used mine to push thru small logs to make kindling. no batoning, but i put my body weight into it to slice off smaller piece of wood to build a fire. the edge survived fine, and i was able to whittle marshmallow roasting sticks for a lot of kids. stranger kids..but something about marshmallows and a fire erased, "stranger danger"..plus their moms were there. (plus all their knife-less husbands :D)

i put a really KILLER edge on mine with a lansky with diamonds...and just last night honed it with my Sharpmaker. it is now PROFOUNDLY sharp. like a straighrazor. i love the thing. it's sized perfectly for my life.

i am carrying it now. it pretty much kicked my Bugout to the curb.

I have two mora knives. The red handle basic knife (the real cheap one), and more tactical green handle version that was discontinued. I think spent maybe 40 dollars in total.

Honestly, I am trying to understand why I need anything other than these two moras. They have both seen heavy use and regular maintenance. However, they both still cut straight through receipt paper with no effort. I have cut and split logs with these knives with minimal effort, but they still can precision cut feather sticks.

I also have an old hickory knife set for my kitchen.

not sure why anyone would need to buy any other brand besides Mora or old Hickory. Cheap carbon steel knives that last a lifetime.

Mine was really sharp out of the box. The steel is awesome on them. I was not a fan of the action on it until it broke in.

I got one of those e WorkSharp Ken Onion Sharpeners pretty handy to get blades back to cutting.

I love them, I wanted to boost my italian blades so I did the Giantmouse & Lion steel.

The action is extremely smooth on them all.

If you are a penny pincher and like plastic then the you said it.... I use my Mora when I don’t give a fuck!

I have over 100 knives from $20-$700 (4-5 Moraknives) and I love the diversity of craftsmanship and style of mostly all of them.

Still searching for a Mora gentleman’s blade.

my basic Mora has a wooden handle-an older version I think. I have gone camping/backpacking by myself and my life depended on that mora knife. I would never trade for anything else.

Preordered a mini bugout but now I'm wondering if I should have gone with the regular bugout instead... maybe I'll have to get both....
