    haha I'm not bothered by it, I was just supporting what Tyler was saying...that it's not actually an option on my phone to get weather alerts and turn off emergency alerts. I leave all of mine on.

    Have you ever got a Public Safety Alert? Public Safety Alerts are sent out under the title of Emergency Alert. I have Public Safety Alert turned off and I do not receive Police notifications.

    so you did not get the alert last night? it would make no sense for it to be sent as an emergency alert if it's a public safety alert, why have different categories then?

    as I said, I don't have any of them turned off and don't plan to, I was simply pointing out my Iphone didn't have the options you shared...

    See if this helps?
    You can list several things under one heading. If you dont want to send out everything under that heading you just remove the item you no longer want.
    So if you have a listing with the heading Axles. Under the Axles heading it may list bearings, seals, axles, housings. But if you remove seals from the list the heading is still Axles.
