My tits are fat too. I like to squeeze them together when I'm feeling frisky. Bags of fun.

Not gonna lie I Installed some of this. Just need the upper half of airbox and the tube now.

Installed afe dry flow filter and the "intake flow accelerator." The accelerator IMO is the main part that will help air flow. Put the old and new side by side, it's easy to see the new one is less restrictive.

Accelerator and the filter are the two most important components, everything else is for sound and looks, IMO.

In trying to get my 17' DCSB OR to move a bit better, I put in the TRD intake and exhaust, and the OVT 92, and ECT button on all the time. IMHO the truck does run a bit better, but only at the higher RPM's. Routine driving around town, there's little or no difference.

If you want to change your low rpm driving experience you need to change your gears out.

I’ll agree with the proven tests that non-OEM CAI’s don’t increase power......but.....some aftermarket exhausts don’t make any more power either but sound awesome. Same can be said about CAI’s.....Modded for sound.......IMO, OP should install whichever one he thinks sounds and looks the best.....

The intake and exhaust didn't do anything to make it move better, just sounds different.

I am running a Volant CAI and definitely see better performance and gas mileage. Have been running one in my 1999 4-Runner for six years. The filter box (not open to the engine compartment) helps damper the noise but any CIA will add noise once you remove the stock air filter system that is designed to help lessen engine noise in the cab.

What performance increase are you seeing? How are you measuring it?

Other than gas mileage increase I noticed better pick-up. To be honest I have been running it in my 4-Runner for so long I do not have the specs anymore for a true comparison.
