Ah i see. Thats a crazy good price. The company selling them on Ebay has a separate listing for a similar price but you have to pick it up.

Might as well start with a real frame for that.

Probably a pile of tube and some math.

Don’t feel bad, I read pile of tube as pile of glue. Figure that one out.

Haha I couldn't justify welding on my own full time vs welding full time doing what I do + side work. Cars and the trucks are fun but the $ for me is with things that go boom and require certs.

    Fact.

I die inside a little every time one of the guys on my group at the firehouse asks me to weld something for them. It’s not worth the extra money. I sold my mobile welding business because it made me start to hate the craft. (Kept my TIG for me, and me alone!...... and when one of the guys at work needs something welded...) haha

It would, and a couple of other concerns. I have no interest at this time, but being able to leave the trailer at the camp site instead of packing up camp to make a run or travel would be nice.

Got ya. I had an offer blasting for some gas companies. They basically had really nice GPR, you set off a small charge and it reads the waves as the bounce back. It would've been cool, but not for $10.50/hour. It was also 60-80 hrs/week. Traveling and home 2 days guaranteed. I often think I should've done it for the certification, and then I could've found something else like demo or mining. There used to be a few options for blasting jobs, but they are pretty much gone now, and I've settled into a decent office job. I would rather work with my hands, but each winter I'm reminded that this isn't so bad in the long run.

Yea, that was my reason for going with a ground tent and a cap instead of a RTT until I can afford a trailer build. I'll set up camp and only use the bed of the truck in extreme weather as needed. Mostly rain though.

Yea working outdoors in the winter sucks. But it's been fairly warm so far so I'm not complaining yet. Also don't like the heat 90° plus also sucks
