@rocklobster2008 my truck was totaled and I bought it back but because the cost of repairs was less than the value of the vehicle I didn't get a branded title. Not sure if the fact that it was titled in WV at the time played a factor. Check out the TX DMV Salvage manual to see if your truck would actually get branded.

 

SOLD Spare wheel and tire holder for 2016-2020 Tacoma. I bought this from a member on TW who makes them. Came bare metal and had it powder coated. Has stayed off truck and in the garage since I bought it with the exception of maybe 10 or 15 total days. It's adjustable and is supposed to fit up to a 35" tire, but I can only speak from it working fine with my 33" spare. However, with my 33" spare, it still had plenty of room to be adjusted up to make room for a bigger tire. Easy install and secured really with spare resting on the bed floor. Threads just need to be cleaned up with a wire brush. Paid $200 plus power coating. Asking $150. Will not ship. Local pickup only. Salado, TX.

 

I have some bike carrying stuff for sale.
First up, Yakima crossbar and baseline tower setup. It has mounting clips for a 2019 corolla hatchback, but they can be switched out for whatever you wanna put them on.

I believe the crossbars are the 50” version but I will measure them when I get home tonight. They’re the Black Jetstream bars. Crossbars and mounts were $570

This particular insurance does not let you buy the vehicle back if it gets totalled. Not sure why he just said it's their policy.

 

USAA was like that when my wife's Prius was totaled. They ended up parting it out and making the money themselves. Because the battery system, engine, and interior were perfect, they made out.

 

Get some info on where they send it to auction and buy it back cheaper there. Odds are its copart or iaai.

No haha I have state farm but the other drive has federated mutual... Never heard of them.

 

My only worry is if my truck went to auction what it would go for. The damage are really minimum from the outside.

 

If that happens strip that bish out!!! That's what I ended up doing to my 1st gen when it was totaled. Ripped out everything I added and they never said shit. Still wish I would have taken the rear e-locker

 

Oh I've gotten everything except the front bumper and that's only because it was part of the quote to get it repainted.
