    No, not a regular thing.
Predators huh? Do you plan on doing any off roading? Most folks who off road even moderately get rid of any running boards because they are easily damaged.
The alternative - rock sliders - cost almost 10 times as much but prevent damage to your truck.

Edit: I see Rob beat me to the "warning/suggestion" :D

Hello MD Tacos, so I met VOSTRAZ (Dan) a couple of days ago, super cool dude and he told me that you guys are the absolute best within the Tacomaworld community. Just wanted to say hi again and to let you all know that I plan on using this sub-forum for any taco related or un-related questions rather then the 2nd Gen Forum. I'm Julio, nice to meet you all! Hope to meet you all someday in person! Up in Western Howard Co.

They're not 10x as much! LOL

They are just 4x as much depending on which ones you get and the options selected.

    https://mobtownoffroad.com/product/2016-2020-toyota-tacoma-heavy-duty-bolt-on-rock-slider/

These are what I had on my last Tacoma and it was totalled in an accident and they quite possibly saved my life.

    https://mobtownoffroad.com/product/2005-2020-toyota-tacoma-overland-bolt-on-rock-slider/

These are what I'm waiting to be built for the new Tacoma.

Here are a couple pics of the old truck.

You search the mod-list, but don't find anything of interest.
I've read about the issues with these steps(and generally any stock running boards/non rock slider options) when used offroading. I have future plans to do some, for now they're a good deal on an undamaged set and a convenience I (mostly the girlfriend) would enjoy for now.
Thanks for being on the lookout for my best interest though gents! Appreciated
Maybe I can make a resale later on them too since they seem to be a pretty hot item. :fingerscrossed:

You will definitely be able to resell them. They are a hot item for most folks. It's a relatively small number of us that off road. I barely fall into that catagory.

Oh, they look the best and work great for steps! No denying that. Hands down. Just know your limitations and you'll stay happy. If they are less than $300 it's a good deal. I sold two sets now and both were that much. Some will take less, others want more.

And trust me, I would never advise anyone on anything I wouldn't do, or have done, myself.

You can always take them off really easy if you decide to go offroad and aren't sure about the terrain. For gravel roads, forest trail roads, and such, meh, leave them on.

WOW, glad you made it out of that. RIP truck :(
Couldn't salvage the sliders, lightbar? :D

Those sliders are over 10x what I'm potentially picking these Predators up for. :fingerscrossed:

EDIT: Snappy add-on cuz good deals.

I’ve been toying with the idea of plasti dip on the badges. At first I was looking at red but green looks good too and I’m gonna do green led cup holders at some point. Don’t mind the wheel lol.

Thanks! Yea, a nightmare for sure. I was able to get some stuff off but not any of the armor. The fit tolerance was so exact putting it on that any deviation from new in any part of it would have made it impossible. If you look at the area on the passenger side, where the bed meets the cab in the pic of it on it's side you can see how the bed is actually pushed over almost 6". That means the frame and everything attached to it was twisted.

I got the light bars though. Both of them.
