@MESO When you put the knobs back together, do you put new adhesive or glue on the cover? I will be ordering one, but I need to remove the cover to do some stitch replacements to match my seat stitches.

Is it possible to get one with the cover just set back on without any glue or tape?

BTW, I already broke one trd pro knob trying to get the cover off, I dont want to break another.

Yeah, it ended up cracking one of the sides a bit. Its hard to see when the knob is installed, but still not what I would like.

I already have the stage 2 and I’m sure most of the cost is in the mold. I can’t imagine it being much cheaper for the new harness and connectors

I have more trouble with the old small wires coming apart because I've pulled the shift console so many times. These improvements are all awesome and will help new buyers.

    That would bother me too.
Try lightly heating it up with a heat gun at a distance to loosen the glue and then pull

Ill give that a shot with the knob I have, Ill be getting a new one anyhow, so might as well test things on the blemished one.

So you stopped when it started to crack and didn’t fully get it off? I’m positive heated up will help on the new. It may further crack on the old where it’s already compromised
