3" Coilover Setup?

    So I want to lift my 2011 Taco TRD Off-Road but I dont want anything crazy. I was thinking a 3" coilover setup. I tried searching but I got too confused with all the different variables...

    What would you all recommend?

    265 bfgs ,camburg or saws 2.5, diff. drop ,swaybar extender,add a leaf rear use same shocks.

    I have an ome setup and its way to hard for me. I wish I would've bought camburg or icon coilovers.

    Compare the spring rates and damping. I'm guessing you'd find the same ride issue on either of those coilovers. Only difference is since they're adjustable on the truck you could dial down the ride height a little lower.

    So its between OME, Toytec, and Camburg for you guys. What about Fabtech? are they any good?

    ICON's and Camburgs/ SAW are different as well, digressive vs progressive.

    I love my ICON's, but everyone is going to tell you what they think is the best and you won't get an accurate comparison.

    To the OP:

    Depends on what you want to use it for, and how much tolerance you have for "follow up" tinkering - vibration diagnosis, VSC issues, trimming to fit larger tires, UCAs to correct alignment, front axle CV and diff bearing issues, etc...

    You say you "don't want anything crazy." The most bulletproof option, least likely to cause issues is:

    bilstein 5100s all around, set at 1.75" in front with 1.5" add-a-leaf in back and 265/75R16 tires (which at 32" diameter are about 1" taller than your stock 265/70R16s) You might have to remove your front mudflaps.

    I suppose I should ask do I really need coilovers.. Or would say some Bilstein 5100's be ok?

    5100s at 2.5, Wheeler 3 leaf progressive AAL, Weathertech liners, yellow wire mod, toyota OEM bed mat, cup holder mod, afe pro dry s air filter, UWS low pro toolbox, Escort radar detector
    the 5100s are good for everday use and occasional off-road use. Doesnt require new coils and relatively fair priced

    This truck will be about 98% on road.. at least for now. So maybe this is the way to go. Tinkering doesn't bother me too much. Its what I do for a living so no big deal.
