Oh yeah you could do that too, I guess. The relay is really cheap and easy to replace if you want it to go back to normal. You just replace the stock incandescent flasher with an LED flasher and it’s back to normal.

I used the NAPA one because I didn’t want random Chinese flasher relay, but here’s a good one on Amazon

Silly body shop didn’t even put the paint on yet.

 

I thought it was weird they did all that work to straighten it out and only painted the bumper

That’s actually your blinker fluid. If you can see it sloshing in the housing you are low.

 

Do they make ST Maxx that small. Those are Subaru size tires

The proper way is to convert the flasher over to LED flasher. The resistors would be a band aid or a work around. So it's good to encourage the way you are, the 15 buck relay when folks go to LED and ask about correcting the hyper flash
