Well this is my last weekend doing anything; I have to avoid getting sick like the plague for the 17th so I'm not doing shit outside the house after this weekend lol. Sounds like it might be stupid cold this weekend though. :/

    Not bad

Very underwhelmed by the amount of snow we got. I feel cheated. My stepsister got more snow down in southern OK than we did here... was her first time seeing snow in 12 years, and second time seeing snow in her life, so better them than us I guess, haha. I hope one of these years we get like feet upon feet of snow. I've been patiently waiting for a blizzard since I moved away from Wisco.

Better get to working on it ;)

I wish I had photos of some of the storms we got caught in, where you could only see the top halves of the car. I used to go to my grandma's farm every other weekend, and if we didn't leave before the plow came in a storm we were stuck. having to shovel through over a foot of snow then get a big ol packed blockade around the property was pretty much a jail sentence. There were a looot of Mondays I didn't make it to school because of that. It really doesn't snow like it used to though, not even up there.

are you sure you want a nasty blizzard and what all comes after it?

i remember getting involved in a blizzard near Manitowoc WI long time ago, they darned near shut the town down even Applebees closed early on us :(
my taco brakes for blizzards up north I-29 here got a DOOZY last year nothing the city could do about it, no pre-treatment of roads it was a glorious mess :mudding:
until the floods the next month, of course

As long as you've got some food
    Don't let the pipes freeze
Clear the snow off the roof if it's deep
And your manager doesn't have a snow mobile

    Yes, I'm sure, lol.

The year before I moved away in 2007, Wisconsin got hit with 2 blizzards back to back, resulting in about 3 feet of snow. I used to play in the snow piles that they would plow from our apartment parking lot onto this 8 foot wide strip of grass between the road and the lot. It would be there all winter and melt away in march or april. After my homework I was out there in my own little world until dinner. That storm was so bad, they had to bring dump trucks in to take the snow away. It was horrible, I was absolutely heartbroken. They left me like a 3 foot tall hill. What couldve been the best last winter ever was super disappointing. They did bury my dad's Buick in the process though, so he put me to work on digging it out. The ski hill outside of town operated into late spring because of it though, and with all the runoff they made a man-made wakeboarding park that's still pretty popular.

My to-be stepmother flew out a couple weeks after that and was like "oh wow, that must be the snowpile your Dad says you like, it's pretty tall"
And I was like NO TF IT'S NOT

    still angry.

Not all that uncommon where I'm from. there are snow mobile trails throughout my area for people to get around during storms.
