    Hello,
    I design and manufacture a custom MaxTrax Bed Mount for the 2016-up 3rd Gen Tacoma that will hold 2 MaxTrax MkII Recovery Boards. The MaxTrax Bed Mount installs on to an existing torx bolt in the bed of the Tacoma using the respective torx bolt. The mount will fit under the OEM Tonneau cover and Bakflip MX4 cover and still be accessible although fitment is tight on the OEM tonneau cover.

    The mount is specifically for the MaxTrax MkIIs. I have not designed one for the Xtremes.

    I sell the 2x MaxTrax Mount for $40 shipped CONUS.

    What prevents the boards from bouncing off the mount?


    From the pictures, it looks like you just kinda hang the maxtrax on the mount or am I missing something?

    Hello @Technique , that's a great question. The mount actually sits underneath the bed "lip" and the first Maxtrax is actually held under the bed lip. The Maxtraxs stack on each other and interlock with each other. When the second and/or rest of the Maxtraxs are installed on the first Maxtrax they cannot bounce off the mount because the first Maxtrax is constrained in the X and Y axis which in turn constrains the second and/or rest of the Maxtraxs stacked on to it. Because of that, the second and fourth Maxtrax has to be angled upwards when installing and removing them from the bed mount.
