Interesting work conundrum

Serge have you considered Calgary Fire? You mentioned that the EMS service was Provincial (same as NB), but your experience would certainly be valuable with the FD and I have heard that they are hiring in big numbers.

 

They aren't currently. They did a massive hire last year and I buggered up the written test.

Once they do hire again though my application is getting fired right back in that som-bitch. Excuse the pun.

 

So after careful consideration I've decided to let these bastards kiss the hairiest part of my ass. I don't care if it's in my particular field or not. I'm not working some place that expects the first 3-4 days of my earning wage to go to the town due to rent and gas and food for the privilege of working there. I'll sooner flip burgers and essentially get paid the same then work for these fuckers.

 

Ha, so more drama.

After my landlord upped my rent to a rate I cannot afford, I am now homeless while at work.

Our perfectly good, brand new, 3 bedroom ambulance hall (Currently unoccupied by anyone other than myself at this very moment) is banned from full time permanent staff (I.E - Me) from resting there. I stayed there last night anyways and my boss presented me with a letter that says further actions of this nature will result in disciplinary measures being taken.

So I guess I'm sleeping in the back cab of my truck tonight. Make a nice nest out of blankets.

 

Pack your clothes full of newspaper , it's an old homeless guy trick to stay warm .

 

Or I could use 2 blankets to stay warm and turn the trucks cold weather 3 hour engine turn over on.

 

Not very daring , but that will work too .

 

Maybe I'll just come down with some thing *Cough Cough* and use up all my sick days for my 2 week notice.

My boss told me to say in a hotel.

Yeah...I'll go rent a $60 hotel room after making $180 a day.

That means on a 24 hour shift I'm making $5/h.
