Army Green thread: let’s keep it green!

The curiousity is getting the best of me. I was at Freedom Toyota in Hamburg Pa. to have my Tacoma and my wife's RAV 4 inspected on Tuesday. I could swear I saw this sitting there, backround looks familiar too!

Fyi, Army Green will be used on non pro 2021 Tacomas. The press release only mentions the trail edition, but it remains to be seen if it is a standard color for 2021.

Not surprising given the popularity it seems to have. In the end, Toyota is in the business of selling cars and tucks and grabbing onto whatever fuels the desire to buy helps the bottom line.

 

Watch is the chance Toyota restricts the Army Green to only the Trail Package and doesn't offer it on the other trims for 2021?

 

I would not be surprised.

 

Trail edition in AG would certainly increase the demand for that trim!

 

I'll ask this here. I would have asked it in the Army Green Pro build dates thread but it's not getting as much traffic.
I received this from my dealer yesterday. Supposedly the pre-vin for my truck. Shows no MSRP, options I did not ask for and my options missing.
I called the dealer they said no worries. That this was their next AG truck on allocation and that the options would be adjusted to my specs at port. Does this sound like what you guys experienced?

 

That wasn't my experience. My dealer sent me a spec sheet that initially showed the MSRP, the factory/port added accessories (the only thing added on mine was the TRD Air Filter) and the delivery and handling fees (same as yours). Do you know what options are slated? My dealer told me that he would wait to add accessories because he didn't want to change the order and risk slowing it down - not sure if that would happen or not and since it was just the air filter added I wasn't going to sweat the $90. What is the $599 Dealer Fees? That looks like they are trying to make up what some of what they discounted for you. As mine went through the process I got the pre-vin and when my vehicle was produced the pre-vin was no longer available in the system.

Go to this link: https://www.toyota.com/owners/my-vehicle/vehicle-specification You can type in your pre-vin and it will give you a spec sheet that shows MSRP and what's slated to be added at the factory and the port.

 

The only options I added were the Black tailgate inserts. And the mudguards. I'll add my own N-Fab step bars off my 2012 trade in.
And get my own bed cover probably a BackFlip MX4 or similar.
I went to Toyota's website yesterday and put in the pre-vin. This is what I get. No really a lot of information. Nothing on options at all.

 

I had the same experience as Devious. Nothing was hidden. Last weekend I had my trade in appraised and they kept their original MSRP that was quoted on my paperwork. I only had a doc fee of $150 which is probably normal. Expecting it to arrive tomorrow and be available Saturday.

If there were any factory or port installed accessories, they would be reflected in the Installed Equipment section. I don't have a copy of mine here - will load it for you tonight when I get home. Maybe the dealer was able to cancel whatever options the were originally ordered. Looks like it is what you wanted at this point.

After looking at your post above it hit me that I was thinking of the spec sheet my dealer sent me - not the Toyota site - that reflected the MSRP. It was basically this page with the prices added that showed the MSRP cost and all the dealer fees (minus tax and license). Your dealer should be able to send you that.

 

Now I have my original spec sheets from the dealer that shows the MSRP and correct options and when I placed my order mid January.
