Anyone ever done or seen the raptor style grill leds positioned along the top of an aftermarket bumper? If so please include pics. I think it has potential but I dont wanna start drilling into my bumper until I know its gonna be worth it.

I'll take any feedback, if you think it looks horrible or have any other ideas please let me know. I may just throw em in the grill.

Heres a photo of what I'm sorta talking about

P.S. I hate stupid Ebay mods like this but I had some LEDs laying around so I figured I'd do something with them.

Put them in top of the tube attached to the bumper. That would be cooler and somewhat functional to show people at night how far it protrudes.

Just because you have extra... doesn’t mean it needs to be used. If you can figure out a tasteful way to do it, do it.

I don't see the attraction to these, raptor lights...
Years ago my dad had an f150 and wanted lights on top of the cab, you know the year drop style. A couple years after they were installed, he flunked a yearly vehicle inspection because one of them were burnt out. They were marker lights and thus they all had to be working even though they were not a stock item to the vehicle.

interesting. thanks for the feedback. I can see them being an issue in that sense, I think the LEDs will be fine though. I'd be doing white instead of amber, and using 4 instead of 3. Im sorta torn between whether or not I want to do it, I just like how it's a little different from the other tacos you see on the road.
