washer nozzle

    ok so i went through my second nozzle since owning my truck and have lost faith in the toyota nozzles, just wondering what some of you are using to replace the crappy stock ones

    i never had an issues with my nozzels...have you tried using a paper clip to just unclog the nozzle from the top and bottom? that may help...

    I would use compressed air. Not full pressure because you will just blow the lines off but you can blow through both ends. At the tank, then the nozzle. Typically it is caused by something getting in there and clogging it. Check the tank for any dirt or muddy goo. Clean as necessary. Replace wash fluid with some concentrate and try to not let it get diluted down too much as the gooey mold will grow again and clog things.

    That was really complicated just for a nozzle... wow

    it's not clogged the center portion came loose from the body and doesn't shoot at all

    You mean the nozzle came apart? Thats odd.. when does it happen? Like do they pop off while using them?

    is it possibly affected by the weather up there? freezing up in the winter and it causing something to split or break apart?

    For clogged nozzles I have found CLR on a q-tip works great. For a nozzle that came apart your probably boned.

    damn...breaking twice and no winter....weird. i've never heard of anyone having an issue like this at all.

    Funny...I had a problem with mine the first day I bought it. I don't know what they replaced...whether the nozzles or the pump itself. Haven't had a problem since.
