I’m a bit pissed that it did not come with license plate lamps like it said it was supposed to, but I already have those and they work fine, so I won’t throw a fit...

I also found this blemish on the left corner; Can’t tell if it’s glue of some sort or a paint defect...

The bumper is going to have to wait about a week and a half, because it is definitely a 2-person job...

    @shakerhood

Would it be worthwhile to buy a foreclosure house?

Oh well, that will be ok. You could set it up on a couple jack stands or a floor jack if you are in a big hurry.

I would say it depends, if you can get it Lien Free and at a good price it could be worth it.

    Nice!

Is it still possible to be supportive of law enforcement while being pissed off by exorbitant traffic tickets in your opinion?

And you remember the story of how I was harassed for taking pictures in Doylestown back in 2013; Other than that bad memory, I support the police!

A Tacoma has probably been on my list of vehicles I want to own since the beginning of high school, or possibly even since middle school; Obviously, that dream came true...

I attended 9th and 10th grade (2003-2005) at Centreville High School in Clifton, Virginia; Yes, even though it was named for Centreville (where we lived), it was actually one town over in Clifton. One of the teachers or staff members drove a dark red 1998-2000 Tacoma RC 4x4, and I admired that truck in the faculty parking lot everyday while waiting for my mom to pick me up; It could have been a V6, but I’m 99% sure it was a 2.7L; It had an automatic transmission, which didn’t bother me in the slightest because I didn’t know how to drive stick back then...

It had A/C (which was pretty much obligatory in Northern Virginia), and it also had bucket seats and a center console instead of a bench seat. It definitely had crank windows; Not so sure about cruise, tilt, etc; It had the traditional 6-spoke alloy wheels that you’d find on any high-end 1995-2000 Tacoma 6-lug, or any early (pre-2001?) 3rd Gen T4R...

Aside from the cap on the back, that truck had everything I wanted!

That was by the only staff-owned Toyota truck at Centreville High either!

My art teacher bought a CPO 2001 Tundy AC 4x4 in late 2003; I overheard him talking about it with another teacher and I of course had to ask about it.

My history teacher drove a base model 1992 Toyota RC 4x4 that he’d bought brand new either when he was still in college or fresh out of college; It DID NOT have A/C! I believe it had about 180K miles on it at the time! He loved that truck though, and though I didn’t always get along with that teacher, he more or less tolerated me because I was one of his better-behaved students.

I do not remember who this belonged to, but there was always a silver or white 2001-2004 RC 5-lug parked in the faculty lot too; I am 90% sure it was automatic, but I can’t remember...

It had A/C, but I’m pretty sure it was a model with the blackout trim; One notable thing about this truck was that it had the coveted AM/FM cassette/CD combo instead of the basic tape deck standard on Tacos back then.

My history teacher also told me that the stereo system he had in that ‘92 Toyota pickup was probably worth more than the truck itself; He had a really high-end tape deck, a CD changer under the seat, upgraded speakers, and presumably an amp and sub...

Yet he still couldn’t be bothered to install air-conditioning!

My auto shop teacher did not own a Toyota pickup at the time I was in his class, but I did reconnect with him via email in maybe 2017, and at that time he told me he was driving a 2007, possibly an access cab, possibly a 4x4, and definitely a 6-speed; Mr. Rose was one of my favorite teachers of all time, and not just because his class involved working on cars and trucks!
