It's really nice all year except for summer when there's just too many people. Just have to time it right to get back there when there's not too much snow.

I stole this pic from Dissent Offroad's FB page. This was Dec 2016 and really shows Bowman in all its winter glory.

Talked my neighbor and he started calling around found a shop that would have it installed $289. Good enough. Hopefully the sealant is good and it doesn't leak. Thanks for the recommendation by all.

Look at increasing your insurance coverage for glass.

I have geico.. it costs me like $3-$5 a month or something crazy low to have a $100 deductible on glass.

I've got a $0 comprehensive deductible, which includes glass. Highly recommended.

Can anyone recommend a local shop that can do a front strut/coil swap?

    Thanks

The Chop Shop in Dixon will do it. Price is unknown, need to call them. I just installed all four and it took me about an hour total and that is doing it on the floor of my garage.

I could probably do it myself too but would have to rent the spring compressor. Unless..... someone in Sacramento has one.....

I did not use a spring compressor (nor would I) use the floor jack to compress the spring more safely than an auto retailer rental unit. Other option is to bring the fronts with coils to a shop and have them compress the springs. Take a look for the YouTube install videos and you will see how simple it is. If still not confident you can do it safely then by all means hire a shop.

pretty comfortable working on my stuff but I know the spring can be pretty dangerous if not done properly. I’ll have to revisit the jack
Method, I’ve watched a video on it before
