Ok guys, the Toyota Owner's Intersection forms are not a joke. Stop trolling Toyota and ranking 'Lack of cooler in bed' as the biggest missing feature. Your opinions have consequences. We could have had improvements to the power train but you jokers got us this (and a built in Bluetooth center channel speaker).

The most interesting thing in any of the Trail Editions is 4Runner cooler. It would have been awesome if they just put that in the back of the Tacoma. Maybe with a bracket that mounts to the bed rails.

Amen to that. I would gladly take a TRD 'Howl free' edition Taco :spending:

We have finally found a way to make rotomolded coolers more expensive than a Yeti. Sell them from a Toyota dealership.

90% of OR owners would use that cooler/cubby exponentially more than they use CC or that locker.

The bedslide thing in the 4runner is pretty sweet though. They should have done that for the Taco...

If they had it branded by Yeti they could charge $5k for the upgrade and every asshole with a saltlife sticker would line up like lemmings

I think the important takeaway here for me is they are finally offering former trd pro colors on non-trd pro models of the 4runner.

Toyota why you do this? I just bought my taco.

Kinda stoked that I’ll be able to get an AG 4Runner without having to drop for a pro. Don’t really care for the shit with the package as much as the color option.

Same, just wish it was based off the ORP and not the SR5

One slightly smaller compartment on one side of the bed would be useful to me (tie down, cable, tool, or beverage storage). But to have two huge compartments marketed for tailgating just seems like wasted space in an already small bed.

Looks to me like the guys that don’t really wanna deal with a full sheet of plywood or Sheetrock would find this handy.
Like the dudes that drive a Ridgeline

Honestly I would use the cooler and the storage bin a ton. How often do I carry 4x8 sheets of plywood? exactly 0 times in the last 5 years. How many times have I put stuff in the bed and wished there was a storage bin, at least once a week.

That's the only thing that made me consider a Ridgeline before I got my Tacoma, it can carry sheet goods really well. 50" wide bed with no wheel well to block it resting on the floor.
