Not sure how much longer Toyota will release a new color annually for the Tacoma TRD Pro.

2021 Tacoma production usually starts in August.

    That’s a reasonable timeline.

This is just like 2nd gen end of lifecycle. The last 2 or 3 years they came out with all kinds of new trim packages to bolster sales of a truck that had been around for a decade. The TX Pro, Baja, and even the original TRD pro were among several packages that were mostly minor cosmetic tweaks.

You will be seeing 2021 Tacoma’s on the streets in roughly 7-8 months depending on what part of the country you are in.

We will see if Toyota makes an announcement at the Chicago auto show that runs through the 16th regarding the entire 2021 Tacoma lineup.

I'll try and get some pics tomorrow of the Trail Edition. First impression is it's an upscale SR5 package. Storage bed, chrome grill, package specific cloth interior.
They did say the ice chest for the 4Runner will be color matched to the vehicle. So if they do offer them separately, I wonder if they'll only be available in the 4 colors this package has, or if they'll expand.
If I was betting on a TRD Pro color announcement, I would put my money on it being at NY Auto Show, which is early April this year. This show (Chicago) seems early, and Detroit feels too late (June).

Very confused by the bedside storage. Seems like they were making an attempt to copy the Ridgeline's storage....except the car-like suspension in a RL actually allows for that.... this takes a small bed and makes it drastically smaller. very confusing

I'd rather see them do something cool with a toyota cap on the bed with some cool storage ideas such as a sliding cargo tray.

Indeed ! Was hoping for some suspension upgrades or a locker in a "trail" model, but pretty unimpressed with the 'cooler'.

This is pretty standard for Pros colors. One year it's a pro color, next year it becomes a standard color. Has held true for several years so I don't think it's any surprise that Army Green would be a standard option for 2021.

I saw them on TFL truck on YouTube. They said it will be cheaper than the off-road. And it's just a guessing game they said. But with the added features . I would go on to say it will be about the same price as a entry level. Off-road. It's cool the coolers on the truck can be removed.

I was thinking that they were going to be a mid year 2020 model.

At least the photo is mostly accurate. Every 4Runnet owner I know ends up with a tonne of shit on their roof when travelling due to lack of interior space or cargo room.

The 4runner has a shit ton of space, I fill it up regularly and can easily fit more than my DCLB does. Your overland bro's just want to look cool.
