    I’m almost to 23 years now and this is an advancement to E9. High 3 and take it to over 26 and that’ll be a good retirement. If I take it to 30, even better. At least as an E9 and the job I’ll be in, I’ll be much happier.

    I guess you hadn't heard the joke? Pretty much don't be a dick to the people who helped get you there. I worked with a Chief who thought he could make E-10 and was trying to change everything to make it look better for him. All it was doing was killing the guys working for him.

    3 more years. I don't know if I could do any longer than that.

    I can’t be a dick to those around me. I’d have to apply for badge job before even being considered for it. Not outside the realm of possibilities Though.

    Job I’m going into is one I was potentially looking into as a GS but now that this opportunity has presented itself I’d be foolish to turn it down. It’s going to be a good job and I’m looking forward to it

    That reminds me of a place that used to be in Chico called the red and grey. They had what we called the wall. There was 99 taps but a few were doubles of others. The way it was then was if you drank one of each without leaving then you got your own stein with your name on it.
    I fell short three beers on my 21st birthday. and missed it by two for the next four year .
