Anyone know if i'll have problems with alignment and trying to get to stock alignment with a 4" BDS lift kit for a 2WD tacoma?
Or will I have to get control arms? or other parts that will further adjust the suspension for alignment?

I really want to be able to lift my 3rd gen tacoma with the 4" lift kit and I would like to be able to get alignment near spec.

Don’t bother with drop bracket on 2wd. Just do the spindle.

maxtrac spindle way cheaper and probably rides better than drop bracket since you're 2wd

not technically yet.. but it is making its way through the process.. I am not following it as closely as some, but passed first hurdle with some amendments. Not sure what those amendments are..

worried that if they get rid of recon that Safety will get amended to become impassable.
Just yesterday SB3165 got deferred. That was a bill to make emissions testing mandatory in Hawaii. It had already passed first reading. Even though they are possibly getting rid of Recon, I think things are going to be getting even more difficult for auto enthusiasts in the nanny State of Hawaii

I’m sure they’ll do away with recon but you won’t be able to pass with all the mods

Some where saying they were thinking about getting rid of Safety check all together? Some states don't do Safety checks.

ARE Z-series shell, ImMrYo mirror lift, always on fog-lights.
I bet most of the shops on island would be fine with it though b/c those techs gotta be losing money on doing safety inspections over doing actual tech work.

Depending on the county you live in Nevada doesn’t have anything except registration. Smog isn’t all that bad. Plus it’s the same as recon. Pay the tech enough and they’ll pass you.

bit different, cause in places like Denver, you can roll around with a decent sized crack in your windshield.

As long as they “grandfather” all the guys with their recon paperwork.. at least a few of us will be fine.
