did you get a different GX or are they fixing the timing cover leak?

Toyota refused to fix the timing cover leak on my truck; said it was normal to weep.

 

Cant teach an old dog new tricks.

 

They took it back, its like a $2500 job on the 4.6L, so I bought an older GX470.

 

before I got fired, I was looking to buy a GX470, great cars

 

Had a GX470 come into the shop today with Dobinson's suspension. A buddy at work has that too.

Did you buy the 470 from Lexus? I test drove like 6 GX470s before buying my taco. Couldn’t find a nice one that wasn’t a fortune.

No, they have one here but I went to Wilmington and bought it from a Hendrick Toyota there. I beat them up pretty heavily on it due to needing a timing belt and front struts are blown and leaking.

 

Did you get them to cover the timing belt at least? That would be sweet.
