Trd off-road hood swap to my Sr tacoma

    I have a 2017 Toyota Tacoma Sr and i want to put a Trd Off-road or a trd sport hood on my SR. Is it possible?

    Yes it is. Off road hood looks same as SR. Sport hood has a skewp.

    Yes but you also need other parts for the skewp itself.

    Shop around though. Price seems steep on thyat listing, but it was to give you an idea on what you need on top of the actual hood.

    Awesome thank you guys so much, and once i get my tacoma fully done this month i will post pictures for you guys. Going 6 inch lift 20x12s and 33s and a few other goodies.

    Yes wanting to go high since my buddy has a 18 TRD sport he has a 3 inch lift i Honestly like his but i like being different and I’m a 6”2 so i kinda want a decent size truck.

    There’s an aftermarket thread here somewhere for hoods. Paint matching and all. I don’t recall if it’s overall cheaper or not. Definitely cheaper during their kickoff.

    A few OE parts from fancy trucks
    Cutting your frame to install a 6" lift that doesn't add ground clearance at the axle line is definately 'different'.

    You'll have zero advantage over your friend on the pipeline. Along with a truck with reduced value to most buyers.

    there’s also swaps. A ton of people want the scoop but there’s also a ton of people who want a sport but think the scoop is dumb so they’re happy to trade it for a similar condition hood.
