    Looking at this pic just gave me an idea. Just weld a tab on that a single bolt passes through, and bolts down. So no more clamp.

    That is a good idea.

    do you see above that red box, on the aluminum extrusion rail, there is a broken piece? Thats when I had the WheelEveryWeekend security mounts. It cant be tightened too much or the rail will break through. I guess I could mount a spacer there to help with support?

    But also, i was going to use the bent tubes as legs going to the bed bolts. So I should find another solution for that now too

    Im not in a prime location for metal. Its either Winchester VA for Winchester Metals, or Laurel MD for Metal Supermarket. Both are about an hour away. One is less traffic and better views
