A lot of those shady car dealers will do the "see no evil, hear no evil" tactic. They'll get their hands on a car for a super low price and they flat won't want to know why they got it for so cheap. If they go looking and find the problem then they're liable and they have to say something.

Pre-sale inspection and block test is the best advice

In NY, we are required to turn the old tags back in. Maybe you should send them to Vermont??

Thank you, very much, but no I'm just going to wait and let things settle until next week. I expect I'll get my $ back and then I'll start looking again.

take extra ratchet straps just in case there are any issues with clamps. You never can know for sure. Awaiting bad ass pics.

We got all of about five snowflakes yesterday morning at 34 F. I suspect that will be it for the year. I guess I've shifted to NOLA -- North. Louisiana.

I might as well order some St. Augustine grass and plant a kumquat tree the the back yard. They can withstand temps down to 19 F. I haven't seen temps in the 20s in a long time.

The bugs and snakes are going to be hell this summer. Forget trying to camp this summer. I would need to bathe in some pesticide to keep from being eaten up by ticks and chiggers.

I hope the love bugs don't move up here from FL. I'll need to get a Florida style bug net for the vehicles.

My buddy's new Jeep just started hemorrhaging oil the other day. It's just a pavement queen too so it's never really seen the dirt either. :bananadead:

    I have mods
Yup, they are good plugs and the washers are really nice with the rubber seal. No leaks at all and realistically, as long as the rubber doesn't tear, you could use those washers again over a couple oil changes at least. And the magnet on the plugs are pretty damn strong. Be ready to be surprised with the amount of crap you have to clean off them when you do the first oil change after installing it.
