    Hi folks,

I had a 2009 Tacoma that I kept for a few years and traded in on an F250. I no longer have the F250 and I'm looking at getting another truck. I'm currently deployed, so I have four or five months before I need something, and I really like the looks of the Army Green TRD Pro.

I go home on R&R in April, so I'll see what kind of deal (probably none, from what I understand) I can get on the TRD Pro for July delivery.

I'm not 100% set on getting a Tacoma, but I know I really loved the one I had ten years ago, and they've only gotten better since. The only other option I'm seriously considering is an F150 just because it's got a little better capacity (towing, passenger room, etc.) but I'm leaning heavily toward the Taco.

Currently own a 2014 Taco sport long bed. Was thinking of trading it in on a F150. This is my second tacoma (1998, 2003)- i think their quality has decreased over the years, i wish that wasn't the case. The cab is just too small on the 4 door and i'm getting too old and clausterphobic to fit in it. I like the F150 aluminum body and fuel economy is great, I just worry about what the truck will look like in 10-15 years and will the reliability be worse? The good thing about F150s is they are everywhere - a one to two year old one takes a hefty depreciation hit.

After my latest Toyota dealer experience, I would not buy a new Toyota even though I've owned Toyota trucks since 1975. Toyota makes great trucks, the dealers suck. A good used one out of warranty perhaps. New trucks depend too much on dealer service, rather have one I can work on myself.
Since I got out of the Marines, I don't have anything green, but to each his own. Thanks for your service.
