I'm currently doubled up in my office chair waiting for the pain to ease.

 

Yea its definitely not fun. When it first happened to me I had no clue what was going on went to the er and then found out. At that time I had a driving job. Nope I'm calling out cant drive with this pain fuck that noise
It took a solid 2 weeks to pass

 

I was like 15 when I had my first. I had the classical symptoms of back pain, followed by generalized groin pain, followed by wanting to die pain. They put me on morphine at the ER. I passed that on in like 2 days, was slightly smaller than a pencil eraser.

 

There is a medicine that helps to looen up the urethra, maybe you could alk to your doctor about it?

A coworker had an episode a few months ago, and he was prescribed that med. I'll ask him what it was, hopefully he'll remember the name of it

 

The urethra is never a problem, it's the ureter leading to the bladder. Once they get to the bladder it's a case of mild discomfort and feeling like you need to pee a lot.

The medicine is something like flomax.

 

That's a bummer, hope you can get rid of it soon. I've never experienced them but it sounds truly awful.

 

Felt like someone was stabbing me in my lower back repeatedly

 

OK, never mind then. He doesn't remember anyways...

 

For me it's more someone jammed a hot knife in and is just twisting it around to cause as much damage as possible.. repeated stabbing implies a moment of not wanting to die.

 

Absolutely nothing compares. Throwing up from nothing but pain is just shit. Luckily my girlfriend also works here and brought me my oxys. I don't like taking them but this is just one of those things you kinda need them for.

The only advice I can give about the grille lights is that since they are white, the officer might have thought it was an "offroad light". If anything I would go with the amber as well. I think there is a law somewhere that says auxiliary vehicle lights have to be a certain color. I'm sure you've seen semi rigs and some fullsize trucks that are covered in amber lights.

 

Hope the pain as well as the stone pass soon. Has your doctor discussed doing a lithotripsy? Dont know if it would help clear them up faster or not.
