    Thanks Matt...

If I’m correct, yours has an on/off button vs hood activated toggle?

Install was pretty straight forward only issue I had was the tape wasn't sticky enough. Ran to home depot and got some double sided tape and that solved the issue. Everything else went smooth and love the results!

Hopefully I can get myself the lights for under the hood!

    You're welcome.

I have a question about the bed lights Matt. Is it possible to have them come on with the cab lights when you approach or unlock a door, and then go off with the cab lights as well? I don't think I need them to come on when I use the always on function in the cab but that's not a deal breaker. If it has to feed off those lights and mimics their every function it's ok. I have a seperate light with a switch for the overhead.

I'm thinking red to match the cab and have them attached to the carpeted headliner instead of under the rails. Exposed wiring doen't bother me either.

Yes they can be wired like that, the wiring info is on TW. Do to liability I don't provide any wiring instructions that tie to factory wiring.

    Scaredy Cat.

But seriously, I understand. Ok, added to my punch list then. Gonna add the white under the hood kit too. I hate using that stupid flashlight app on my phone. Maybe two red strips for rocker/puddle lights.

:spending:  I need to let the dust settle a bit first from the cap purchase.

I have a mx4 cover, did you have any trouble with the wire lengths since bakflip relocates the tie down rails?

Iv'e done installs on Tacoma's with this cover and it works well. The wire harnesses attaching the light strips together are long enough that it doesnt affect the newly lowered side tie down rails.

    Got mine in last week!

super easy to deal with, my lady ordered a long bed kit stead of short bed. Matt made the exchange quick and simple. Extremely impressed by the quality of the kit as well.

Hoping to get a hood and bed light set in the the future. My co worker has a 2012 Tacoma and I jokingly asked if I can have his center bed rail for my truck. He said sure, caught me off guard and a day later I took it off, cleaned it and mounted on my truck. One step closer.:fingerscrossed:

The 3rd gens have a tubular center rail that the light strip mounts to or the tie down rail will work to.

Yes my truck does have the upper rail, but a free bed rail for extra tie downs, I'll take it. Just need to save up for one of your kits.
