I would like to see the sun visor flip down to a touch screen that controls climate and 4 wheel drive along with the things the touch screen does now with an added voice assistant that would do all those things to

As long as it has more power and three pedals in a DCLB I'm good. Oh and be able to haul plywood between the wheel wells

No 'technology'. Some power things (windows, door locks etc) that have been standard for decades are fine. But all the 'smart car' stuff? Fagedaboudit.

    Smaller footprint.

    Lose the carp mouth/grill.

Option for a 2 speed rear axle. Like 3.9 and 4.9. Front axle is 4.9, so rear has to be set there for 4wd to engage.

None of this will come true, but this is the internet.

How about the ability to put the full Off Road camera suite on a truck without also having to put leather seats / moonroof / premium everything on it?

How about the ability to put a moonroof on it, without having to have premium everything on it?

A menu option in the head unit software that can turn off the door chime, and also the seat belt alarm.

And an anytime forward and rear camera built in so I wouldn't have to do this stupid install this weekend.

All of this. And rack mounts on access and base models. Also a larger panel for added light switches (like 6 dummy switches).

If they drop a diesel motor in the 4th gen then I'll be at the front of the line.

I second the dials thing. I've only had the truck a couple months, but I still grab the 4WD knob every once in a while while groping for the fan knob at night.
