I have seen a few k5's that looked decent for not too much. I want something that will be DD capable but at the same time if I lightly crash into some trees like I seem to regularly do, it won't be a big deal. I'll take a closer look at those too.

Been looking hard at some Mitsubishi Delicas and Toyota Hiace. I really like big wagon/van type things and these vans seem to hit the spot. Prices are going up tho in this market too as it seems the new hipster trend of "van life". I just wanna cart my animals and skis/bike etc around... Not be insta famous ha.

Rust is your enemy with the K5. They all rust, but the last of them were galvanized better so they rust less bad, so to say.

I have a friend with an 89 K5. It looked pretty good until you looked underneath it. He replaced most of the floor and the rocker panels and had the whole thing repainted.

You're not wrong, but K5s (and all square bodies) like to rust in new and unique ways. His rockers are okayish, the rear quarters are actually pretty mint, the frame is probably 75% good, but it needs floors and cab mounts. The interior is probably the roughest of everything. That being said, it's got a 4" lift with the quad front shocks and 33 x 10.5s on it (it had 35 x 12.5 but they were from the 90's and it drove line poo), and well, I love it. If I had the room and the ambition, I'd do something like it. I'm trying to talk him into a turbo 5.3 with a 4L80E, but we'll see.

I've been around. Had a good radio contest a couple weekend back. Spent some time with the family. All the gear is in good working order and right by the garage door ready to go!

Very windy today. Lost power in some places. The price we pay this time of year for almost warm weather.

Just had some heavy snow squalls down here.
Went from 54* couple hours ago to 33* and still dropping.
Got some 50mph wind here as well.

I stopped for gas on the way home and the wind was so strong it was making the pump rock slightly!

When I was at work today, I was like "hey, it's sunny outside!" just after it finished raining, and then a few seconds later the wind and clouds turned up. It sounded like a couple of doors were going to fall down from the wind.

How's it spelled, I think I was doing it wrong.

Pretty sure the error means he's in timeout though

That's like Larry David wearing a MAGA hat on curb your enthusiasm. He realizes that everyone in Hollywood hates the hat so when he wears it people leave him alone. They missed out on a perfect chance for a twist ending where he wears is it to get out of something and the other person also has a hat and now he must sit with them in public both of them wearing their hats in Los Angeles

I'm taking one of those big boat rides out of Miami. The cruise line has been sending us information telling us if you've been to Hong Kong China or Macau you are not allowed to board the ship

My Mom lost power last night for about 8 hours. I kept my power but my neighbor has a tree sitting on top of their minivan.

I just got my 5th Corvette seat this morning. I'm determined to make a fully functioning pair out of the what I've got. Who knew there were so many variations of seats on these cars.
