Kinda, except you're using the traction limits, while keeping traction, and adjusting your steering angle with the wheel and the throttle. With front wheel drive, I found myself needing to left foot brake on off-camber corners to induce rotation, albeit not drifting.

 

What I've notice in fwd vechiles is if you let the rear wheels get ahead of the front wheels and you don't have the power to keep the front wheels spinning it's harder to keep from spinning out

Your just ass-dragging, as I used to call it, in my younger years

 

But what I'm saying is if your ass draggin and the rear wheels come around faster then the front wheels means your screwed

 

This will explain what I'm saying. I wrote several paragraphs, but my internet window cleared my post. If you're front wheel drive. Loss of rear wheel traction can increase steering angle defeating-ish your traditional understeer.

If you're outside of the circle, then you don't have traction.
