I recently purchased my first Tacoma, a 2019 TRD Pro. I have made some minor mod' (lower grill light bar, interior LED's, tint) and it's real hard to look at all the posts and instagram shots of these tricked out Tacoma's without wanting to doing more. I purchased the Pro because I didn't want to go crazy, however getting a couple more inches of lift/height and possibly bigger wheels/tires is something I would like. Any suggestions as to doing it the right way? I don't really plan on doing technical offroading. I primarily do that on two wheels and will use the truck to get to those locations. I appreciate the help.

Nothing yet for lift's on Pro, except spacer's (They don't get any love here). Eibach is working on lift springs, for Pro.

It might not be the flashiest mod but a Toyota OEM bedmat is invaluable and what I would recommend as a first mod. Worth its weight 100x over IMO.

this and drive the thing. your truck is already capable to take you wherever. do that, then discover what you actually need. or you can follow the crowd, let them spend your money, go broke, and then find out it's not what you wanted/needed in the first place.

265/75R16 A/T or M/T. This will help you offroad. Also taller tires = slightly higher off the ground. Could go even bigger tires, but then you gotta cut shit.

265s and a bilsten lift was the first thing I did. Cheap and easy enough to get the look o wanted but left room for upgrades if I really start getting into it

Nothing. If you feel the urge, just do the little things you mentioned.

Bah! I’m just saying what I wish I had done. Go crazy, have fun. Don’t let your wallet catch you seeing it cry.

    Bed mat

255/85R16 Tires (Will fit on stock wheels and no lift needed)

Sliders (wide enough to protect your truck against door dings in parking lots)

Tailgate lock (keeps someone from stealing your tailgate)

    Possibly bed stiffeners

All the above can be researched here on Tacoma World.

Make sure to read the sections that discuss “vibrations”, “noisy differentials”, and “how to use the search feature in tacomaworld”. Doing so will save you much frustration.

Not sure why you’d swap the factory Fox for Billy’s.
