Look into getting relocated like this. I had them tuck it up as high as they could and turned down right before the rear axle. Cost me about $75 at my local muffler shop

Do you have OEM exhaust, or aftermarket? Did you notice any sound change with the chop/relocate? I'm thinking of getting a Borla exhaust and doing something similar, having it dump up high under the truck.

I went with wickedflow kamikaze km-250 muffle. As for the chop and relocate it has a nice tone during start up and driving. Cruising down the high at 70 you can hear it a little bit in the cab (nice rumble).

Now if you get on the gas hard it get pretty loud. The wifey said she needs ear plugs if I get in the gas to much.

Thanks man. I won’t trash talk the guy who did it because as stupid as he was, he immediately admitted fault. I’m currently hoping I just get enough money to fix all damages and then some.

Some states will fail you on safety inspection unless the exhaust passes the rear axle, which is why alot of Tacoma guys just dump it right over the axle.
