That's why I like trucks. Especially for my family. Bigger the vehicle, usually less chance of injury. And this customer was not seriously injured. Car totaled.

I agree! Many here won't agree with that though. From guys that don't have sliders. I have dom sliders, and enjoy their many benefits.

I learned how to drive stick in 1992 Toyota mr2 hehe. When I was 15 one of the mechanics at the shop I worked at had one. I actually miss driving stick. My car before my tacoma was stick.

I learned to drive a stick shift way back in the days of this "beautiful" in the eye of the beholder car...

I've got DOM sliders that I'm rebuilding since the PO I bought them from took them off with a plasma torch. Bought thick wall DOM to replace the runners and A36 for frame plates and trusses.

How about learning on a 1977 Ford Maverick w/ a 4 speed, no air conditioning and an AM radio. And I live in the deep south. But that was back in 1984.

Hell, I learned to drive stick in a '69 Chevy Biscayne with a three on the tree, the most basic stripped down model possible, no options at all. And it was a brand new car at the time. Fuck I'm old.

I've never drove one with a shift on the column before.
You're not old, that's called vintage.
The other day my kids told me that my beard is not gray, it just has chrome high-lights.

Buddy had me learn on his 1963 Dodge Dart. Also three on the tree. Was almost my first car.

1996 Ford Escort wagon... sisters car. Manual, white, and as base model as you could get.

Funny thing is... my first personal car was a 1991 Chevy Beretta... auto. I kept flipping it into neutral trying to shift it.

I was feeling petty so I told the cashier at the CVS that someone left their truck in neutral and it rolled. She called them on the intercom so I sat in my truck and waited for the dumbass to come out and move it.

Yep. Decent little car. Someone else has an C63 AMG, there is one of those Mercedes jeep/range rover looking things. Couple other unique ones. Most of whom can park! Haha
