Definitely agreed having them on hand but to my surprise last week, they came out really easily.

If I cut the bolt head off is there no issue getting the new bolts back into position?

its a long ass bolt that threads through the suspension mount and the control arms. once you cut-it, it should just slide/drop right out.
-you wont have to bend or ply at the body work on the inside to get it to come out or the new one in.
-You could then run the other one in from the other direction, easy as drop-in.
-I suppose in theory there may be a manufacturing/engineering reason for the direction of the bolts mounting this way or that, but if you torque it to spec and re-check everything after it sets in, i would rate that risk as "low".
-("torque-to-spec" become all your wrenchings mantra in life lol)

I would see the reason it was installed the direction it is so that IF the nut does come off the angle keeps the bolt in?

I assume the same. if it was a significant concern, you could probably return the bolt back up "the way it should" with less bending/plying of the bodywork than it would take to get it out.
Also, this may not even be an issue for you, but rather its more of something to just consider having on hand, since its so cheap. Much easier, and enjoyable of a process to have options.
