Perhaps. I'd have to check with the inspection station and see what would work. I could mount one to the jerry can holder also I guess. I go to the dealer to get it inspected. I know they're more strict but it's free and I am cheap

    8. Rear (tail) lamp is not mounted near extreme rear of vehicle. Dump trucks and other specially constructed vehicles may mount the rear lamp at a point other than on the extreme rear, provided such rear lamp is clearly visible from the rear, and further provided that a red reflector of an approved type is mounted on the extreme rear. In unusual cases, the rear lamp may be mounted on the cab. Reject if the lamp is hidden by a bolster or other part of the body or frame, is not mounted securely, or if the lamp does not make a good electrical contact.

Yeah I stopped going to the dealer because they are a pain. I might visit @boogie3478 place but would be nice to find a place closer to get it done.

That looks rad, good job. Three tabs should be perfect for what I thinking of doing. I'm planning on mounting it behind the grille. Maybe some small L brackets? We'll see when it arrives. Thanks for the input

Does anybody have a needle bearing removal tool they could swing my way if i pay for shipping both ways? Want to replace the needle bearing when I install my LT kit but the price of the tool itself is outrageous!

Can throw in some stickers and keychains with the tool when I ship it back

They are warm white as far as I know. I grabbed these on ebay and the appear to be an exact match. There are 2 back there and I took out the burnt out light and replaced it with one of these and tested it at night. Cannot see a difference. And they come in a 2 pack so I also have a spare when the other burns out.

Check it out and hope you already fixed it...

Thanks didn't know about that! Using your vid as a reference for when I pull my axles and pull the bearing so thanks for that as well  Would you recommend getting an axle seal just in case? Not sure how easily they can be damaged

Absolutely get the axle seal as they are easy to damage if you aren't careful.

Works. I just used it on my bushing purchase.

    Free mod.
Took 4'' off OEM antenna, actually did a year ago but never posted. No more hitting garage door each morning. Antenna is still higher than the roof by a couple inches so it serves as a better height gauge now. Reception seems the same.

Step 1: Ball in vice, wrench on shaft nut, twist until release. Sorry I know...

Step 2: It chops and shapes the end to accept the ball again.

Step 3: JB weld the wire to the shaft and JB weld the ball on, then paint.

Got the lower idler pulley replaced (it was making noise and my mechanic found that the bearing was starting to go.) Along with the serpentine belt. 113k miles.

I just want to offer this as an alternative option: FLEXIBLE PVC TRIM with internal aluminium metal clips and gripping tongue – providing strong grip and excellent grip retention
