Where to Download Toyota Accessory Instructions?

Got the remote tailgate lock and NO INSTRUCTIONS in the box! I scoured the interweb for about an hour this morning looking for instructions but no luck finding a pdf for

$163 PK3B635JL0 Toyota Genuine 2019 & Newer Tacoma Long Wheelbase Tailgate Lock PK3B6-35JL0

PK3B635JL0. I did find instructions on Tacoma World for the short bed version.

Does Toyota have a site where you can download accessory instructions?

That link appears to only have owners manual, warranty... nothing available for the "purchased separately" accessories. I see the official pdf files posted here on occasion, so they must be coming from somewhere--perhaps members who are also working for dealer service departments.

 

I used YouTube for tailgate lock install, the directions that came with pop n lock weren't so good. It's rumored pop n lock makes the Toyota kit.

I believe the installation on the short and longbeds should be about the same except for the harness length and the amount of zip ties you have to use. I can't confirm it though.

 

They were very close, a couple more zip ties on the underneath, but that was about the only difference. I finally just drove to the dealership and asked them to print the instructions out for me. For those of you who buy this kit, make sure you check for instructions before leaving the dealership.

 

Did mine yesterday ... I just used the SB’s instructions without issue (except for the cab grommet location).

 

Does the oem work on 16 Tacoma it say 19 up I can’t find any info

It was pretty much under the passenger seat so I unbolting the seat and moved it out of the way

I’ve been told they are part of the Tis subscription, but I’ve also been told they are dealer only?
