    Maybe mine should be revoked... all three of them. Tonight and tomorrow night will be the first two nights we'll be staying in our Habitat so far this year... And they'll be in my in-laws driveway. At least it's gravel?

    @breakfasttaco93 couldn’t PM you.

    I’ll take the prinsu habrack. Which wind deflector? Also does it have the noise canceling option, and/or light bar mount. PayPal standing by.

    Also curious. Surprises me that for a low volume product with maybe 300 ever made there are so many on the used market.

    Yeah - not really anything to do with the Habitat itself for me. I've loved owning it and never had issues...just current life circumstances changing.

    I would think that after 3 years of production that seeing around a 10% sell rate would be normal. After all a lot of us get restless, things change, and we want to try something else. I was going to put mine up for sale, but after looking at the Atlas, Summit, and AluCab, decided that I liked all the room the Habitat has and will figure out how to heat in the winter or just not do much winter camping.

    Was winter camping an issue?
    I found myself being very comfortable in my Flippac in at or below freezing temperatures. I just assumed the Habitat would be the same?

    Recent pic just because. :oops:

    Keeping an 18 year old corgi warm and comfortable is the issue for winter camping. We have a propex heater so that helps a lot. Some other Habitat owners seem to have better luck than I do in very cold weather, but I'm going to play around with insulation this spring.

    All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
    Went and looked at the Summit and Habitat yesterday. I really like idea of the Atlas. If only I were closer to you.

    Annoying question for a kind Habitat owner out there with a heart of gold and a measuring tape: I'm trying to figure out where I'll need to position my battery box/fridge slide. I want to get it as far to the passenger side as possible without preventing the fridge from being able to slide out due to some obstruction from the way the topper portion slopes in.

    If the upper, passenger side corner of the fridge was 34 inches high (sitting on a battery box), how far would the base need to be from the passenger side of the bed?

    I don't have a tape measurer handy, or I'd go out to the lot and measure. Question though, do you have the bed reinforcement brackets that need to be cleared as well? I know some of those cause you to bring the the fridge further from the wall as well.

    i got funky home-built 'cabinet' with fridge slide, it don't look fancy at all..but refrigerator slides into a 'cabinet', the side of the cabinet nearest the passenger side bed rail is six inches from that rail. this box is 28 inches tall. if your refrigerator (@34inches) side is six inches away from the passenger side bedrail, you could still slide it in and out past the door strut. its the door strut not the Habitat sloped side that limits. other issue is how deep/ long is your slide unit, the wheel well could be more of the issue than the strut.
