I want to rescind my negative review. If the mods can delete all posts related to that review I would also appreciate that.

I have been using the 91FOB tune for about a month now, and it was a greatly improved experience.

I noticed a big difference immediately. Great product.

I just turned in my rusted out 97 4runner of 15 years for a 2020 Tacoma DCSB TRD 4x4 AT. The 97 was a great rig! I knew what I was getting into(known problems; gear hunting and throttle response etc..) with the 3rd gen Tacomas but I just love the build quality. I've read most of the threads......lots of good info:)! I'm not looking to upgrade the tires or add other major upgrades. I am looking for opinions from other 2020 owners or those who have the latest Toyota updates the 2020's received VS the latest OV tune? I am new to Tacomaworld and apologize in advance if this has already been discussed. Thanks!

@Red18Taco707 the handheld doesn't work on the 2018 yet. I have a HH that has been sitting on my workbench since Labor Day. The website is updated to say good for 16/17 3rd Gen but it didn't say that when I bought mine. The handheld vendor @Openflash has stopped responding to my requests for updates, although @OVTune has been apologetic and has offered to trade my handheld back.

Anyway, for now the handheld isn't an option.

Why do i wanna hook up an odb2? Im not guessing at anything dude my RPMS were at 1500!!! Ive shifted this truck more times than you can count through all gears and u can even see on the highway video later on that i did 6th but it backed out to 5th and 6th gear at 60mph is 1500. Try again and what exactly is the point of ur comment anyways?. Not sure what your point is youre trying to make?

for now it isnt. They are still working the kinks. Seems to be a small blockade they are working on but not impossible yet.

So you think that when i said 6th gear full throttle that meant i was doing 6th gear ? You simply are not understanding what i meant. I went FT in 6th gear and that was simply to show you the Throttle Response and the Downshifting for that. The fact you can get a smooth instant downshift and have no hiccups like stock form does. Stock has lots of delays when it comes to throttle input and ive had that many times at highway speeds.

What was the status of TC during your talking points? Your review is limited in operating range and sugarcoated.
Locked TC in 6th at hight speed 80 + mph will not downshift easily. Have to slamp the pedal to the firewall
Drove about 11k on all iterations in high terrain.

Wasnt anything to say other than that, i talked to him about it and it is all fine and dandy. Its normal. Its something that caught my eye and its normal operation. Matt told me 10 degrees is no big deal since he has seen tundra TC go as crazy as over 300+ degrees. Long as the pan doesnt get hot youre fine. Limited by what? of course theres limits and sugar coated by what!?.........Well sorry we dont have 80mph here in Canada our fastest is 70 at most 75 if ur lucky without being caught.

Like any other review out there in the world, it wont satisfy everyone, but it helps alot and shows alot for people. Some people may be nit picky and all that but still helps and gives at least my .2 cents on it.

Just tuned my 2020 tonight. I have a little over 2,000 miles on the truck. I will be interested to see the difference in the drive.

I tuned to the beta 87 octane 2020 AT tune. I would say that there is additional power (can get to the red line if I get on it / 6 rmp). The pedal is not sensitive and my idle is smooth. There is good acceleration from 40 mph (don't feel the stall).
