Those do look like fun trails to explore !!!!! , I've only been to Death Valley a few times 1994-97 and did the trails during the CA4WDC Panamint Valley days. The trail I really liked was Surprise Canyon

I'm almost 58, referee lots of hockey race 50+B Enduros and still coach track days on my old R6. Just got the Taco a.nd tried to trade up to a V6 6 sp manual. Going to start minor mods - mainly performance and some minor bling.

Got back from the mtn. had a fun morning with my oldest son and lance. pulled trail cams, looked for sheds and picked a tree for next year in a primo spot. wife told me to keep the taco out of the garage. got a little muddy.saw 4 bucks this morning. one good one that had dropped one antler

Used to bring home a couple-3 boxes when I used to do the Land of 3A run.

It's amazing where folks could go with tires, lockers, and winches.

 

I've run that canyon twice and it is a very physical workout pulling winch cable . Usually we would attach the winch to the rear of a jeep and free spool and let that jeep pull the cable up to the next winch point

I remember alot of carb fires from extreme angles and or winches catching on fire from over use . Marlin from Marlin crawler fame would just walk up those waterfalls without needing to winch

Going down the falls heading back to Ballarat was an E ticket ride as your front bumper would slam into the boulders as you slid down

hey everybodybeen a fantastic week or so for me in a nutshell, got my yearly raise last week-descent-and this week got an adjustment-more descent. you had to be in a certain"grade" to get this. years of service for those people depended on what you got. ive got 36 yrs. Im good-yeah baby yeah!!
