I just purchased these and got them installed yesterday. I freakin loved them until my kids open my wife's car door into them on accident. There is not enough room for them to open the door while we are both parked in the garage now no matter how we arrange the cars. I got too much crap in there I guess...

    :annoyed:

I'm going to need to go with some lower profile ones without a kick out and I think I'll be good.

I paid $1150 for them and looking to sell them for $950. All included hardware is intact. I'm only looking for local buys because they are too heavy to ship. I still have the boxes they shipped in as well. These things are freakin solid!

They are powder coated and have the kick out as you can see. I've included a couple pictures so you can get a few angles. I seriously love these things but not enough to keep my truck outside.

Easy fix! Have your kids get out before getting in the garage

We're ignoring the easy solution here. Use the windows to get in and out.

Trust me, I weighed all options. It's that kick out that is the trouble for me. If I didn't have that this wouldn't be as much of an issue. I have a pool noodle covering that section of the slider where the kids open the door, haha.

I might be going with the same sliders without the kick out or even these TJMs, but I don't know how durable the TJMs are. They don't explain the type of steel or how thick the tube is so I'm a little leery: http://www.tjmusa.com/en/node/4607#slideshow-2
