We did more offroading than hunting this year. We met all of yall here in the Bama thread and it was all she wrote! lol We're going to balance it this season, I really missed hunting this year.

I’ve been teaching my ten year old to box since he was five. He loves to sucker punch me and it’s getting to be a problem.

I've been teaching my boys to box since they were at a young age as well. Watching them box with their friends, I have no doubt they could hold their own if push ever comes to shove. They know better than to sucker punch me though! lol

I’ve been drilling into my son since before he was old enough to understand my rules for fighting.
You can fight to defend yourself or for someone who cannot defend themselves.
If you have to fight, hit first and hit hard.
If you fight for the right reasons, you may be punished at school, but you will never get in trouble at home.

I need to add no sucker punching dad to that list.

For sure, they know not to start fights with anyone, they're actually sweet boys, but if cornered, they know they will fight their way out of it. I was bullied in school as a kid and basically HAD to learn how to fight, or else I'd get my ass kicked all the time. My sister and I were the only Asian kids in a predominately black and white school, so we got picked on by both sides. Got into Taekwondo as a kid, trained with Paul Collet (former hand to hand instructor for Gadsden PD) and boxed on the All-Army boxing team when I was in the military, and now wife and I are into Krav Maga for exercise.

Severe weather possible Wednesday. Will know more tomorrow. Tons of rain this week for the northern half of the state.
    Flooding is a major concern

Old verse new. Big difference. Also checked all my front suspension torques. And im glad i did. My upper control arm on the drivers side was extremely loose. All is good now.
