Just 14 payments left on the car, and 10 months left on the lease for the apartment.

Once the car is done, I'll say "fuck it" and move just to move.

Funny you say that, the skin on my fingers has been cracking and bleeding at the knuckles over the past few days. Been using a lot of hand sanitizer though after changing the baby's diaper so that's probably not helping

If they're still making CA money, that's insane then.

I'd be happy to make half what I make now, and live in a cheaper state; I'm not one to live large.

    Mo' money mo' problems

Totally man. I didn't know or see the big picture when you mentioned it the other day. Definitely take advantage of it like you're wanting

    For now.

Give it a few years and the Cali effect will take place. Its a nice area and its on my radar for a possible move later in life. But I think Hotsprings is safer from the transplants for the time being. I liked both, but have to consider future demographic changes. I think NWA will lean too far in the direction I dont want it to for me to move there unfortunetly.

So another reason why I typed out the ideas I had in my head, regarding the change in job, is because I'd like to set myself up right away if I did leave the state.

I'm the resourceful type, but I know my limits. Going into another state is a whole different thing and if I could start looking at places before moving, that'd work a whole lot better in my favor.

@CS_AR deserves a beer and a big ass steak dinner for opening my eyes a bit.

Know what my SO told me one time that I thought was hilarious?

As a single guy, living alone, you tend to live on the cheap side, naturally...

It's funny that we don't realize how cheap that is until a woman comes into our life, especially our domain (even more if they inhabit your domain) and it opens your eyes like holy shit

As a Marine, hot pockets and red bull were enough for me since I was still able to smoke, drink every day, and out PT anyone I knew :curls:

When I hiked Mt Whitney (14,500 ft) over 3 days I had the worst dry skin and chapped lips of my life, it was awful. Didn't bring chapstick with me which was a huge mistake. When we got down the mountain and I got some it was like drinking water after being on the brink of complete dehydration
