I'll let that one slide, as long as you don't ever pull "I almost joined the military ..I get the same recognition right?" (I know you wouldn't lol)

But yeah I hated that the city jobs that did those surveys (with equipment I was already proficient with) required degrees.

We did the same but with aiming stakes, which is how you initially lay out your gun line and evenly disperse them.

Your standard fire for effect resulted in a parallel sheath but if I needed to I could quickly calculate the individual deflection for each gun to create a converge sheath; 32 rounds of 81mm.....even the pink mist would immediately dissipate

I did really want to fly planes. You know, Top Gun and all, but it turns out I’m a big pussy.

Yeah, the degree thing is stupid. There was the whole class A truck driver thing, where people who drove trucks in war zones still had to go back and get a license. Or medics had to go get their EMT.

I think that is starting to change, we have several vets in my office, some in IT, some field techs, lab techs too. Our work is a little different, we don’t care much if you have certain letters next to your name, as long as you’re not an idiot and donwhat you’re told. Turns out the military does a good job in that respect.
