I mean it can work. Just saying it wasn’t designed for it.

    Wow.
And here I thought you were exaggerating with the “miles of wires” before looking at the picture.

Today I decided to remove my kick panels, front shift console, and the carpet to continue the interior detailing while my seats were out. Here was the carpet before I started the steam cleaning..

And check out the progress half way through, pretty easy to see the difference where the steamers been huh?!

The snow ball effect is grabbing hold of me as usual, I also ordered up some acoustic mat/thermal barrier to install on the cab floor as well while I got it all apart. Figure that may be a good way to help silence the custom muffler and intake a bit while keeping the extra 2 horsepower and (sometimes) fun sounds!

It's the only gear case on the thing you don't fill until it runs out, it takes a very specific little amount and that's it. Otherwise it pukes, and all of mine have puked because I don't have time to measure that shit haha

Oh really? That's not well known is it? That needs to be well known though. I've seen a few ask about gear oil smell after r&r'ing the fluid. Good to know

I thought the spec was like 10mm below the fill plug or something like that? Not volume - which might change based on gear ratio etc.

Either way, I just fill up to the plug, and let it puke out until it stops. Works every time. :D

I dunno, doesn't really hurt to just overfill it, it'll get to the right amount eventually.

I made me one out of vinyl. Been rocking it a year or so. Only a few people see it and/or recognize what it is.

Yesterday was Wax day. Got done just in time to get it in the garage before it started to snow.
    IMG_20200208_120053721.jpg
Meant to do it before Winter but, eh.

Also found a small area on the roof where the clear coat is starting to bubble. Guess Ill look into getting it repaired before it gets too out of hand/expensive.

How long did you get out of the newest set of LBJs?

Been meaning to check mine again, installed new ones about 8 months ago/10k miles. They better still be good lol

I think 2 years it seems shorter than that, but the older i get the harder it is to keep track. I probably got 30k out of em. They were purchased from camelback...right about the same time those guys had failures right away on them. So maybe they were a bad set. Im about to go on a long trip so Im glad I checked em
