Any of you acoustic gurus know about adjusting action on them? The neck is perfectly straight, but I want the action lower without filling the nut grooves

I have 11/52 on it now and that's as light as I like to go. I'll try sanding down the saddle some

Overtime money has burned a hole in my pocket, again. I had the opportunity to play one of Fender’s new Tone Master Deluxe Reverb amps last week. I’d been reading about them on the Telecaster forum. It is a fully accurate digital replication of a ‘65 Deluxe Reverb. Looks identical, sounds amazing, and you can attenuate it all the way down to bedroom levels! I love the sound of a DR, but 22watts is waaay to loud for home. The settings are 22w, 12w, 5w, 1w, .02w. You can set it to 5watts, crank it up, and hear it break up. Sounds like the real thing! The future is here. I still love my tube amp, but this thing will be very cool!

    It will be here tomorrow!

Plot twist if I may...my old man has a Kay Banjo. He's had it since the 80s in a case. Has quite an ornate engraving on the whole back of the body. Looked at it today as he had it out and said he's looking to sell it cuz he just noticed it in the back of his closet. Neck is straight, no twist or bend...I'm a extreme amateur guitar guy at best so I know shit about banjos and am about to start googling but I figured if there was any knowledgeable banjo cats here to point me in right direction.

I don't mind liberating this instrument if it's something, but not if it's an everyday item

Not sure there are so many models, do a google search and you will find some info or pics that look like what he has.
