Installed a Core/Hurst short shifter in my 2017 Tacoma today. Throw has been reduced drastically without changing the height of the shift knob, shifting gears feels mechanical and notchy, no more rowing through gears. In comparison it feels like my little Honda Civic with a B&M short shifter. One of the best upgrades I've done to the truck so far, highly recommend.

:( That was an easy grab, coins all sorted neatly and all. They would’ve had to scrounge through a bunch of crap like loose miscellaneous screws, pieces of rocks I wanted to keep, and other stuff to get mine. I am sorry for you.

    @JimVZ

Welcome to the forum from Eastern North Carolina.
Look at the LED third brake light link in my signature.
There's info on the flasher that I used there.

You'll want to mount it in a different place for a double cab.
    I'll look for a link.

Pulled some old gal out of the ditch with the new ARB snatch strap. She lost her brakes.
Also cycled the new winch up at the local camp spot.

@JimVZ Here's a link that will explain WHERE to put the strobe module / flasher in a 3rd gen double cab. In this case he's REMOVING it, and needlessly took the headliner down looking for it. :frusty:

Turns out it was under tne sill plate of the driver's side rear door.

That'd be the easy place to install yours.

Edit: Duh! I forgot to paste the link.

When I saw the first picture, I thought it was a dead dog rotting in a hole. It's just been one of those days. BTW, nice trick. I've never heard about the pressure washer. I have to try that next time.

Tacomas and MR2s make for a really great combo.
Tacos and MR2s pair nicely together

After months of being limited to using left hand only, casts, braces, and weeks and weeks of physical therapy.....I finally have enough range of motion and dexterity to remove the console and install the Meso cup surround. I love it. Patiently waiting for the vent rings to arrive next week. Hoping to start installing some of those mods stacked in my closet soon.. Feels so good to be able to do stuff again!!

Glad you're well. I'm fine and have about five things to install. Have had them for months.

I may end up sending my Focals back and I haven't even even received them yet. I'm not happy with Crutchfield. They decided to delivery restrict the item to where I can't will call it at UPS. It's out for delivery Monday and i'm working out of town all week. I've chatted with one of their agents and was basically told tough shit nicely.

I'm irrational when it comes to shit like this so back they go and i'll order from someone else.
