It's something you should be proactive about. Don't just do nothing hoping it will never leak.

I hear ya, if mine ain't broke I'm not messin' with mine either. Sometimes you're better off just leaving well enough alone.

Think I'll just keep a close eye on mine for now and hope that I've made the right decision.

It wasn't that difficult. Just take your time. Definitely have a small screw driver set (flathead and Phillips) handy. The 4x4 switch was probably the most difficult part and I definitely needed a flashlight to see how things were assembled. The install videos are pretty good reference.

Headlights are sealed up and ready to dig into the electrical. Somehow this one got a little <1mm black spec on it's projector, I don't know if I'm even going to try to fish in there and scrape it off or not, it's something you'd only notice if you walk up and look for it. Wish I'd gone and painted the rims of the projectors so that I don't have that crescent of silver amid the black, but was too afraid of messing up the lens. Lots of goo-gone gonna be required to clean these things off, but that's just elbow grease. Endless thanks to the guys that answered question after question from me about the project.

    You're welcome.

In my case I was replacing the light anyway, and on an Access Cab it can all be done from the outside, so it sorta made sense to put the strobe module behind the third brake light.

On a double cab it makes more sense to put the strobe module under the driver's side rear door sill. That way you don't need to be concerned about ending up with a leaking light.

AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO DROP THE HEADLINER !

TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
Yours is a DC which removes from the inside so if you are just altering the wiring harness to accommodate the flasher you wont be removing the brake light anyway, you will just be dropping the back of the headliner to get at the wiring harness. As well, while you are in there you can inspect for any leaks without tampering with the light.

I’d be very interested in a parts list and how you put this together. Looks trick.

I have. Then, I also installed some SOS concepts rock sliders by myself...
You can do it alone but much easier with some help while you tread the bolts in. Use a floor jack with some 2x4’s to keep it elevated and leveled. Or couple of cinder blocks would work too. Anything solid to propped them. Good luck!

That's a horrible idea. What time?
I've had a set of these for years. When I convert the garage to my wood shop, these can be moved and not a trip hazard. I trace the handle portion on the floor so I know where they go.

What a huge difference they make over the stock bulbs.

If I had a garage I would have a tennis ball hanging from a string. Old reliable.
